Analyzing an advertisement

Hmmm... i reckon this is a rather interesting advertisement! However, like most things on the world wide web, this ad is only one of MANY.
I must admit the reason why i initially chose this particular ad was because the vivid images appealed to me --for a second there i guess i forgot that i would have to a-n-a-l-y-z-e it afterwards! Lol...

Oh well... here goes nothing!

What is the platform?
This is a digital ad taken from the internet (i.e. world-wide web).

What is goal?
To encourage people to use this particular mailing service, which is dependable and efficient.

Who is the intended audience?
I guess this particular advertisement is targetted at anyone who uses a post office (mailing service) to send letters to family members, friends, and/or colleagues living in another country. It can also be said that it is targetted at users of the internet (since this is where the ad was located), which we all know is quite a large audience base!

How is the message designed to appeal to this audience?
Using colorful images of penguins, snow, sand dunes etc PLUS a clear contrast between a desert area (i.e. somewhere quite desolate) and a snowy place (also quite desolate!). You can see letters lying about 'aimlessly' in both scenes. In words, this ad might actually be trying to say "if you use some other mailing service (which is not as good/dependable as ours), your mail may possibly end up somewhere else -not where you intended it to. SO USE OURS!"

YEYYYAAAAA!

To 'her', with love...

It's all in the NAME!

'youngEnviroMediks'. Hmmm...

Seem strange to you? Well I don’t blame you. It's weird enough to make you scratch your head at first glance. However, if you care to take a closer look at the newly-coined phrase, you will find you don’t have to be a GENIUS to suss it all out!

Okay. So why, then, was such a strange word initially breathed into life?

Let's just say I had a few ideas that needed to be
‘squished’ into a single phrase. Without making it sound TOO complicated, that is. The need was for a ‘colorful’ blog name that essentially informed a reader at first glance: "young people (youth) who CARE FOR their natural environment."

Oh, I see!

Yeah that’s right. I'm a guy who's all about Youth Empowerment. Young people the world over, I strongly believe, share one great thing in common: they hold within them immense POTENTIAL. Young people are ACTIVE. They have IMAGINATION. Tons of IDEAS. And more than that, they're PASSIONATE about those ideas. All they need is a little tender guidance. Oh, and some positive encouragement!

But…‘EnviroMediks’?

One of my greatest personal interests lies in the area of ‘Conservation’. Put another way, and more specifically, this encompasses the ‘preservation of our natural environment and all that is in it’. (If “wildlife” is one of the things that come to mind as you read this, then you better believe you’re right on track!) We have ‘decorated’ and dedicated adult experts worldwide who have found a lifetime passion in this admirable quest. However, the emphasis I wish to place is on the 'young people' in the world who also possess a dedicated heart and voice for it. Youth empowerment, remember?

Now when we think of sick people, we like to picture Doctors and Nurses on the frontal scene –truly dedicated and active ‘medical personnel’ who offer invaluable medical assistance to them. Who help them feel better. Who nurture them. When I think of a BEAUTIFUL world that’s “coughing”, “dying”, or slowly “fading away” due to the selfish acts of many, I think of…

.…
youngEnviroMediks.

Need I say more?
